A launchpad for makers
2026See a Problem? Build Your Fix.
Young Creators League (YCL) is a hands-on innovation challenge by Plaksha University, for students in Classes 8–12. It gives students an opportunity to identify real-world problems and build physical, functional solutions that can make a difference.
Students gain more than technical skills. YCL builds creative problem-solving, design thinking, teamwork, critical thinking, and the confidence to turn an idea into something real - backed by design thinking frameworks and technical bootcamps on micro:bit, Arduino and ESP32, plus 3D Design and App Development.
The world is full of challenges waiting for better ideas. Pick a theme that sparks your curiosity, dig deeper into the problem, and build a solution that could make a difference. Open one to see what you could attack.
YCL takes you through a journey of exploring, building, testing and showcasing your idea. Here is what that journey looks like.
Each round looks at a different part of your journey, from understanding the problem to building a solution and bringing it to life. Open a round to see exactly what the panel looks for.
YCL is about more than taking home a prize. From building something you are proud of to putting it in front of experts, every stage gives you something to take forward.
Ideas become prototypes. Prototypes meet the real world. And young creators take the stage.
Grab three friends, pick one of the five themes, and get your team on the board before 30 October 2026.
